Get over Valentine’s Day! It is February 16th already.

The red roses that your suitors gave you may be rotting in the corner already, while the cute love notes are nowhere to be found.

To you, Valentine’s Day may be very special because it is the day the world wanted us to express our affections towards our other half.

Here are Valentine’s Day realizations that can break your heart (if you've got one):

1.       Valentine’s Day can also be known as “Bring a Condom Day”. The evening
of the day must be a “peak season” to pharmacies because even governments from all over the world backs the use of rubber when making love or lust with someone else.

2.    All radio stations put a ban on popular hits from English singer Adele on Valentine’s Day. It would be awkward to be listening to “Someone Like You” and “Set Fire to the Rain” while holding each other’s hands on a date.

3.    All couples want a meaningful Valentine’s Day. To attain this, they book in expensive resorts and five-star hotels. What they do not know is that donating to Baguio City Special Education Center is even more romantic and meaningful than doing those Kim Kardashian-ish activities.

4.    During Valentine’s Day, the press gives emphasis to heterosexual lovers because Cupid originally did not know that a male heart can be partnered to another male heart. This video is as romantic as any other heterosexual proposals on earth:

5.    Those who do not have a date on the evening of Valentine’s Day may stay at home and watch Titanic. The movie reminds us that no matter how sweet they are, they will end up a tragic fate. This is better than cursing two people, saying “magbi-break din sila!”.
