Blogging is undeniably still an emerging industry in Baguio City as once stranger online media is introduced to professionals, academicians and entrepreneurs as a new communication tool in reaching a wider range of audiences.

On July 26, 2014, the 3rd Baguio Blogger Conference gathers professionals from different walks of life to learn about the essential aspects of blogging.

If you have no idea about blogging, it is writing about anything and everything with multi-media insertions using a system that would allow your works to be accessed by anyone using the worldwide web.

The conference brings together pioneer bloggers in the region to inspire other people to explore this new profession that is considered to replace some dying professions in the future.

And you’re invited! Here are 10 sexy reasons why you need to be there:

First: The event is FREE and LIBRE!

You do not need to bring cash in exchange of all the things you will learn at the event.

Thanks to Goldilocks (Session Road, Baguio City), Marosan Restaurant (KM 4, La Trinidad), Smart Telecom and Granary Academy and Assessment Center (Magsaysay Avenue, Baguio City) for the support!

Second: Learn how to market your business through blogging.

If you have a humble business that you want to introduce to the world, Ms. Jag Fernando of Ygolotte's Sideline Online and Mr. Dean Cuanso of Watwat World will help you market your business to your target customers through the power of blogging.

As a Public Relations and Communications practitioner working for New Media Services, an Australian company being marketed across North America, Australia and New Zealand region, and Europe, I can attest to why setting up a blog is essential to a business that wants expansion.

Third: You will learn how to set up a blog and how to manage it.

Mr. Clayre Chaokas II of Shutter Captured will teach you how everything is done.

Basically, even an elementary pupil can run a blog. He will also share tips on how to advance your blogging skills.

Fourth: Turn your hobbies into a blog!

Do you want to blog about your passion? Ms. Ane Fallarme of Diary of Ane will talk about putting your thoughts about fashion, beauty and other interesting matters on to a blog.

Know your niche and join the gang! Say for instance, you are into this thingy:

Fifth: Explore the world of Photo- Blogging and Photo- Journalism

Do you love capturing images and videos? Mr Baguio Smile Carl TaawanBaguio of Sunstar Baguio will take care of photo blogging and photo journalism.

You can run a blog that shows all the stories you’ve seen and interpreted through photos and other multi-media content.

Sixth: Snacks and lunch will be served!

Thus, you won’t need your Tupperware full of rice (and extra rice). I knew you will love this part. I love it too. I think this is the main reason why I’m attending the event.

Seventh: The location is very accessible.

The Mission Conference Hall of Church of the Resurrection Church (also known as "Rex") within is located near POEA, OWWA, Baguio Village Travel Inn, Zio’s Pizzeria, AMA College and NIIT. Just look for this structure (photo credit of Pinoy Churches)

Eighth: You will get to learn how to earn MONEY through blogging.

Creating a blog serves not just for you to express your thought but also to earn money, not just in Peso but also in US Dollar.

Sounds like a network marketer? Not at all! No need to pay anything in blogging.

Many people nowadays rely on blogging oppurtunities to feed their family. Unlike me who makes my blog as a tool to communicate my crazy ideas and to mobilize people, I find earning money still a tertiary reason why I blog.

Ninth: You'll not just see me; you'll bloody listen to me!

This must be your lucky event! I am talking at the conference! I will discuss about political and satirical blogging.

Political and satirical blogging is the most interesting area in blogging nowadays. I will discuss about ethics of writing a satire, which is still based on classic writing.

Just a thought that I wanna share: those hoax sites writing about false news are not real satirical sites but shit trolls that want nothing but publicity badly to earn money.
