To our Globe relatives and friends in Ilocos Sur, you may now start calling each other without additional interconnection charges.

All you need to do is to dial the seven-digit telephone number to connect with other telco providers, vice versa.

Does this sound SAVINGS? Yes it is! A single peso you saved from this development helps.

Globe just started the commercial activation of its interconnection deal with its telco counterpart in the region last December 10.

In fact, Globe is open for discussions for potential interconnection arrangement with other local exchange carriers.

Atty. Froilan Castelo, Globe General Counsel, said:

"The goal of the company has always been to offer products and services that are relevant to our customers. The expansion of our collaboration with competition further enhances our customers’ access to affordable telecommunication services especially for those that are residing in the provinces.”

I love it when companies address the concerns of their customers in the province. Globe knows the fact that not all their subscribers are based in Metro Manila. Kudos!
