Dancing has been my waterloo, making me one of the glass goats in dancing activities. But things go differently when on a night club's dance floor.

Stumping the right foot without breaking the floor, raising the right hand to the open air, shaking the body as if there is no tomorrow, and other dance steps that have no rules at all make partying an open invite to anyone and everyone.

Forget about the effect of liquor on the sanity of a person. Admit it or not, people go dancing for two reasons:

First- to loosen up after accomplishing a load of stressful tasks-- the healthier way
Second- to bond with some select people that we value so much (and the bonus is to meet new friends while going crazy on the dance floor)

A few weeks ago, we were invited by a good acquaintance Alexander Catalan, who also attended Sandstorm music festival to Time in Manila, a night club along Makati Avenue. The club is located just across A-Venue Mall.

That evening, Trance 'Til Dawn disk jockeys were set to entertain guests with electronic dance music (EDM) offerings.

Bloggers Evo Contrivida and Rona Beltran started dancing while I tried to help myself to a bottle of beer. The guys from the group of Alex were very friendly that we started mingling as we stayed awake into the night.

The music being played shifted from underground to vocal trance. Vocal trance is my favorite especially if an operatic soprano or Celtic voice is used to spice up the beat. Its relaxing value to me is incomparable.

Remixes of popular hits were played after. While dancing, people were singing along with the tracks. This puts the night a more sentimental value.

At the end of the night, we were able to stretch out our legs, meet new people, and release stress. A million thanks to Alex for the invite, and of course Time in Manila for the approval.
