An adventurous year, 2014 has been the toughest for me. Instead of continuing the luxuries I was enjoying, I made a choice of moving on to meet new faces and pursue new battles.

Having literally nothing to feast on these year-end days, I have many things and people to cherish.

It is true that isolation makes you discover and re-discover yourself. I am able to shortlist the people that really matter to my both happy and gloomy days.

I have not yet mastered the art of living; I am just a chick fresh from my mother’s haven. What matters is that we become stronger and smarter as we go neck-to-neck with life’s jokes.

Even a hard-headed mammal like me needs to re-evaluate things around.

"Thank you", is all I can say. I shall repay when the upcoming fruitful years come knocking at the door. And we will not just grab some beer, we will drink the rain!
