What do you expect when you attend a dinner two hours late?

Picture me running from a cab into Gerry’s Grill  Promenade in Greenhills, San Juan. Upon my arrival, the departure has been announced with people saying goodbye to each other.

I must have ruined the anniversary dinner party of Astig.PH last night, a treat from Gerry’s Grill Promenade. Thanks God, co-bloggers Ate Mars and Mommy Lariza patiently stayed for extra minutes to accompany me while I feast on the delicious Gerry's Grill food.

As a major consequence, I really felt bad about myself. In the academy, I was trained never to be late, and I am known by the people from my circle to be strict when it comes to punctuality.

Sadly I was not able to bond with Astig contributors, which was the reason why I really wanted to be there. I hope to see them in the coming events, where I could arrive at least a minute before the call time.

Astig.PH is a community website, managed by Dennison Uy. I engaged with this credible site when I was still working with Salarium. Since it is celebrating its first anniversary, Gerry's Grill Promenade jumps in to share the good spirit with the people behind the website.

Gerry’s Grill served the team spicy chicken, which was quite good. It is not super spicy just like what people in Kalinga and the entire Cordillera expect of a pepper-sprinkled food. I also enjoyed the sizzling sisig, kangkong, and the ever-famous calamares.

While eating, I was gossiping with Mommy Lariza about the latest happenings in the blogging community and in our lives. I do hope more good news will pour in the coming few days, as I gear up to go back on track.

At last, I finished eating dinner. And proceeded home to rest my “paos” voice and my physically-stressed body.
