11 Things We Should NOT Know About Chief Justice Renato Corona

1.    Renato Corona’s middle name is C. C neither stands for Corona nor Basa. It’s for Coronado!

2.    Renato Corona was born on October 15, 1948. Thus, he will be turning 64 this year. But if Doctor Vicky Belo would invite him to her clinic, he would turn 46 this October. Charice throwing a comment: "Pa-botox na lang siya, sabihan ko si Tita Oprah about him."

3.    Renato Corona’s alma maters include Ateneo de Manila University, Harvard University and University of Santo Tomas. Egg-cell-enth schools!

4.    When Renato Corona was still a student, he was the editor-in-chief of The Guidon. The Guidon is the university student newspaper of Ateneo.  Super-mega-of all seasons-impressive!

5.    Renato Corona took Master of Laws at the Harvard Law School. Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago should have known this fact! No one likes to be filed for contempt!

6.    Renato Corona was appointed as the Chief Justice of the Philippine Supreme Court on May 12, 2010, a month before then President Gloria Macapagal- Arroyo’s term ended. Hmmmmmmm….(that is what Mariah Carey whispers before starting with the main lyrics of "Through The Rain")

7.    Renato Corona was, is and will always be married to Cristina Roco. His in-laws (including him) were spotted hugging during his impeachment trial. The next thing they will do is to write a letter addressed to Charo Santos of Maala-ala Mo Kaya.

8.     Renato Corona taught at Ateneo for 17 years. That is nearly two decades! One of his students will succeed him as the chief judge. And that former student will say "Ayoko sa wangwang. I need to go, may date pa kami ni Shalani este si na Grace pala!".

9.    In 2004, Renato Corona was awarded Dangal ng Bayan by the province of Batangas where he was born. Dangal means honor. However, 188 congressmen thought he has no honor at all. Thanks to former Chief Justice Serafin Cuevas for rescuing!

10. In 2009, Renato Corona was made Honorary Professor of Law by the Remnin University, the leading law school in China. China thought he was born in Scarborough Shoal.

11. In 2011, Renato Corona was given the Asian Leader Award for Judicial Excellence and was titled as Inspiring Leader of the Decade by BizNewsAsia. But to Prosecutor Neil Tupas Jr, he did not inspire them; Renato Corona “expired” them.
