For #StopSPAM: Globe Telecom Gets Finalist Citations in 2015 PR Awards
Last year, my inbox was full of spam messages from people and companies desperate to boost their sales. But when Globe launched its anti-spam campaign, everything has changed.
Now, I am sure that the
text messages I receive are legit- from my friends and loved ones.

While it is true that the anti-spam campaign is a Public Relations effort to bring the soul of the telco to the heart of its subscribers, I do admire the move.
The campaign has a genuine motive of giving Globe subscribers protection from spammers, and Globe is successful in materializing the goal. This kind of user experience has reached the judging panel of PR Awards.
PR Awards gives credit to
companies with the best practice in public relations around Southeast Asia.
Globe bagged three finalist citations:
Twice nominated- Best
Crisis Management- #StopSPAM and Fair Use Policy campaigns
Finalist- Best Sports PR
Campaign for Globe Slipstream
Yoly Crisanto, Senior Vice President
for Corporate Communications at Globe, said:
“This testifies to our
strong commitment to be the preferred brand of choice among consumers as well
as a company which puts premium at transparency and accountability through
strategic communications.”
Winners of the awards will
be recognized in Singapore on March 5, so we have an exciting week waiting for
all Globe subscribers! This is another reason why I remain Globe.
